By registering a society or resident account on GateBook ("the Service"), you agree to these Terms of Service. The Service is operated by Nexora Technologies ("we", "us").
GateBook is a software platform for housing-society management: maintenance tracking, digital receipts, notices, meetings, voting, complaints, visitor management and related tools. We provide software only — we are not a party to transactions between a society and its residents.
Societies subscribe to paid plans as displayed on our pricing page. Fees are charged in advance for the selected period and plans auto-expire unless renewed. Plan features and pricing may change with notice; active periods are honoured at the price paid.
Maintenance payments made by residents flow directly to the society's own payment-gateway/bank account using credentials the society configures. We never hold, route, or take custody of maintenance money and are not responsible for disputes between residents and societies regarding such payments.
You are responsible for the accuracy of data you enter, for safeguarding login credentials, and for using the Service lawfully. Society admins are responsible for the correctness of their gateway credentials and financial records.
The Service is provided "as is". To the maximum extent permitted by law, our aggregate liability is limited to the subscription fees paid by your society in the preceding 3 months.
You may stop using the Service at any time. We may suspend accounts that violate these terms or applicable law. Governing law: India; jurisdiction: courts of West Bengal, India.
